Overview
The VIPER HUNTER 8 is a combat-proven high-velocity FPV interceptor designed for aerial threat interception. The platform is highly effective at neutralizing one-way attack (OWA) munitions—including Shahed, Geran, and Molniya—as well as tactical ISR reconnaissance platforms such as Supercam, Zala, and Orlan.Engineered for high-threat environments, it features multi-band spectrum flexibility for command and video links to bypass heavy signal suppression, alongside an ultra-high-definition digital imaging system for precise visual acquisition and autonomous Terminal Guidance. Mission reliability is secured via a dual-tier arming sequence (initiation system) for safe deployment and guaranteed terminal engagement, while conformal-coated electronics ensure full all-weather operational capability.The system has been successfully validated in drills with the Lithuanian Armed Forces and tested in Ukrainian operational conditions.
